Coverbond 4 is similar to Tri Guard, the popular car covering material from Coverking except for the fact that it has an extra middle melt blown layer. This gives Coverbond 4 its extra strength and bulk. Take Tri Guard, add an extra layer to it and you have Coverbond 4 – four layers of extra thick protection.
Coverbond 4 is very bulky in construction and makes an excellent choice for more severe weather. Owing to its unique weave and construct, it is naturally moisture resistant. This means that not only will Coverbond 4 provide superior protection from rain and snow, but acid rain, industrial pollutants, tree sap and bird droppings also will not harm the fabric. It dries easily too, because no moisture is absorbed by the fabric fibers.
Coverbond 4 has been made with Italian technology and features a 4-layer non-woven polypropylene fabric that provides maximum protection in all weather conditions. It is akin to the Mosom Plus fabric covers that are made by European technology and used by millions of satisfied car enthusiasts around the world. Coverbond 4 has soft but strong layers, constructed from a polypropylene / polyethylene composite. These layers take advantage of the best features of both polymers viz. the superior softness of polyethylene, with the incredible strength and sure stability of polypropylene.
Coverbond 4 offers excellent breathability. It allows air to circulate through the fabric and helps to keep the car cool and dry even in the most demanding weather conditions. However, what makes Coverbond 4 truly special is the extra layer of protection that it offers. The two middle layers of melt-blown fabric act as a filtration barrier against most airborne pollutants. The 4-layer thickness absorbs impacts better than any other vehicle cover fabric to help protect the finish from nicks, dings, dents and scratches.
